exactly. TPC+ is pretty much Intrinsic. Intrinsic has a bit more adjustability.

so if you have TPC+ and u think intrinisc will be TOTTALY diff it wont.

TPC is twin piston chamber? dunno cnat remeber.

I thought TPC+ and Intrinsic were fairly different? TPC plus has two floating pistons that handle compression and one floating one for rebound I believe, and it has compression and rebound adjusters. Im not so sure about Itrinsic but its basically spv that controls the fork further through the travel rather than right from the top, it has rebound adjust and intrinsic adjust which I have heard controls the amount of stroke that the intrinsic dampening is active in. Another thing I heard is that some pro riders were using TPC+ in their Travis' because they felt they could get more performance out of it. It may be that they were just more used to tpc+ or the intrinsic wasn't perfected yet.

well. if u got on a bike with a with intrinsic then switched to the TPC it about 80% of u would not be able to tell the diff.

So does Intrinsic actually perform better than TPC+? Is it more reliable? I saw an OEM TPC+ 7" Travis(1.5" HT) at BSP that looked interesting. Cheap too.

It seems like Manitou may have had it right in 03(Dorado/Slider) and have come full circle. I'm glad I didn't buy into their two year SPV beta test :)

That being said my next fork will be a Travis Intrinsic as the ones I've tried felt very similar to TPC+.

IFO i thought u got a TPC+ not intrinsic? or was it because what I said??

TPC+ I hope never goes away for manitou sake cuz it is 1 of the most relyable things they have for forks.

Yes I hope it stays, and I hope I can get my Supernova working again for some TPC+ goodness!

My god, I need to see pictures of that!

Ross, any chance there are any stickers kits for the supernova kicking around OGC? If it gets restored to good running order I'd love to throw some stickers on it but I think I lost my sticker kit.

I love my TPC+ travis single150..feels great to me. I find that my friends intrinsic equipped travis single feels slightly more plush in the first inch of stroke, but after that it feels pretty similiar. Overall, I find that the forks feel pretty similiar, but this is based primarily on parking lot tests...actual trail riding on an intrinsic fork is pretty limited for me, but like I said it does feel pretty similiar to the TPC+ version

went with the DHX 5.0... I got it workin' nicely, so I think it should be good. Don't have pics yet, but I will hopefully soon enough.

'06 chaps are so nice though... super manoueverable bike.

Yes they are nice and manoueverable! Would you mind telling me those settings and what spring you are running for your weight? I am still looking to get mine running a bit better.

Sorry about the thread-jack.
