Just wondering if anyone is running a 180mm single crown travis. Have not seen any around, on the trails or in the shops. Just wondering what peoples impressions of them were. how much you paid etc. Also does anyone know if it is possible to decrease the travel to 170mm or so

why 10mm? haha you compress it that much. they are great forks to have. I have travis 150 TPC+ and I love it.

Ive got a travis SC150 with the TPC+ damping and I love it. It's a great fork, although the 180mm version you mention is way different - intrinsic damping, an extra inch of travel and 1.5" steertube..A friend of mine rides the exact fork you are looking at and loves it, the intrinsic damping easily makes it feel like a DH fork whereas mine feels a little more like a burly trail riding fork.
manitou has done stuff right this year I reckon, 34mm stantions and a somewhat beefier crown/ arch are pretty good...

I got the 180mm travis single Intrinsic, really smooth, bottomless feel, good small bump sensitivity. Fairly stiff, not as stiff as a dc though. And the travel can't be changed at all, already asked manitou, would require all new internals.

I've got the Travis 180 SC. Coming from an '03 Super T. It's every bit as stiff, supple and plush. It's a great fork, handles everything that my Super T did but more manueverable. Not as adjustable as some forks out there but the simpler the better sometimes. I'd definately recommend this fork.
