Does anybody have any practical experience with the Gamut USA chain guides. There is a review from MTB UK on their web-site that says it is one of the lightest and easiest to install on a bike (I hear that E-13 can be a bit difficult to install). I'm looking for information from somebody who is running one, and has installed one.

Never Installed One, But A Friend Of Mine Had One And Changed Over To An Mrp. He Said It Was Light And Mounted Pretty Easy. But I Know The Few Rides He Did, He Threw The Chain. Not Very Good In My Opinion. I Have Had Great Experience With E13. Yes A Little Trick To Install, But Once It's On. You Can Forget About It. Never Threw A Chain And It Ran Really Quiet. I Would Still Be Running One But The Drs Doesn't Have The Guide Tabs Anymore, It's Bottom Bracket Mount. So I Went With The New Blackspire Guide.

I have a G25 on my RM9, hasent let me down yet, had it for a few years now, I never installed it though so I dont know how it was to line up, there really is'nt much to it so it shouldent be a problem.

I have no experience with the Gamut but I will say the E.13 isn't really that difficult to install. It may take some trial and error to get it perfect, but once it's set-up you're golden.
Don't let an extra half hour of set-up time discourage you from an excellent product

Do they make a dual ring guide?

i've been running a g25 for nearly a year now. its simple & easy to set up, has never dropped a chain, and is super light (over half a pound lighter than the e13 srs it replaced). i've been super impressed so far.

Yeah, they are definitely a really nice looking guide. Totally functional, might be a strong competitor for the e13 domination. Or at least a solid alternative.

the semi-white plastic looks ghetto though
