Mmmmm...looks like they have their line up dialed this year, I see they have dumped truvative for FSA and Nokian for Maxxis, both sound like fair game to me!

I guess they haven't changed too many bike designs for 07, except for the stab supreme which looks alright. I don't think however alot of people are going to like the pink stinky primo, too bad kona doesn't have color options. Do the high end konas now run saint brakes?

Where's the change?? All I see is a different top tube on the Stab Deluxe, and paint schemes on the rest?? Sure components change, but thats to be expected from year to year. Maybe something in the geometry ..... otherwise I really can't see much difference between 06 and 07.

Kona's basic suspension design hasn't changed from '99...

They have got to do something different for a change; to get my interest. The suspension design they have been using for the last eon is out of date compared to new technologies. Sure it works.... but their R&D dept. must have the experience/expertise to create something new and exciting.

U said it yrself : it works !
My 03 DeeLux is still doing fine.
Friend has a 4" XC Kona , forgot the name, 2 yrs of heavy riding , no slop, bearings still doing their thing , another friend on a Blur: welcome to wagthetailville , same thing on anothers friends Epic.

Hmmm , wonder why Turner , Banshee , Trek and a lot of others are also doing the same thing; Faux bar linkage.
Cheers

Wow, looks like Kona is the battlefield for suspension companies. Roco getting some first time OE spec with a major brand, knocking the DHX3,5 off the Stinkies (wonder if the big M is eating the margin just to get in there?).

Then there's Fox, still getting some fork spec, but still looking like they're playing in the boutique corner and not yet ready for mass consumption.

SRAM is still shut out, so we all get to keep breaking Shimano's deraileur barrel adjusters on new Kona's - yeah. Still, looks like Kona told Shimano where to shove that centrelock stuff.

As for the pink - kona you're about 3 years late: the pink train has left the party.

Is it just me or did some of those damn awful khs frames have a giant hump in the toptube. And seriously i am not liking the bent tubes first norco now kona and specialized (demo 7) i am really not liking it.

mmm them stinkies are lookin pretty good this year, but o my god what is that hideous thing that they call the stab?! i like the new 888, super tasty, but i wish they had a better color for the stinky primo, maybe some green or something less loud than pink

Is it just me or did marzocchi lose a ton of pimp factor for 07? they look way too bland and cheap..kinda sad to see.

Colours are nice, stand over seems to be the target that was improved, yet nothing new as usual. I guess it really works for them?

The Stab looks like they may have changed the geometry slightly but it's hard to tell from a photo, at the very least they've changed the shock position so I wonder if that means anything. The pink Stinky is running a floating rear brake but the plain Stinky is not, that could be an interesting option.

What's the orange bike with the air shock (with resevoir)?

Hard to tell from the writing on it, but my guess would be its the new Coilair. The air sprung Coiler, I think that was its name.
