I rode Whistler yesterday for the last time until that weekend. Girl and I are heading up on Friday at lunch and not looking back. Going to spend most of the weekend on the hill except for when I am in the village hitting the scene!

i am undecided. it will not be whistler since i can go up any weekend and i will not go to norco-fest(i'm racist).... maybe stay somewhat local and get some vedder runs in? i need to do something different but i dont really know what. looks like it'll be a last minute decision.

Imagine VPS fest a few years ago when all Norco's generally had the Monocoque frames??? Pictures hundreds of Norco "clackety clack clacking" down the hill. The noise would be louder than a Harley bike rally!!

SILVERSTAR! If you did not ride it last year, you don't know what you are missing. These guys have seriously stepped it up. Already this year they have a very large trail crew working on the hill 1 month before it opens, and plan to open some brand new trails!!!

The best part about how they design their trails is that they are kept in the trees, so they are not exposed to the harsh Sun and rain runoff that destroy trails (for example Fantastic in Whistler). These guys know how and where to build trails.

I just with the "other" resort nearby would make even a fraction of the committment to its resort conditions that Silverstar does.
