i need to get from van. lines gate hospital to whistler, how?

you mean North Van Lions Gate? You're dreaming if you think you'll be outta there in a couple hours. I spent 10 hours to get 2 litres of IV and a couple pills last sunday.

theres a 3:40 and a 5:$0 from lions gate, not sure where it stops though, taxi ride to the bus terminal shouldn't be toooo bad though.

The Greyhound bus stop by Lion's Gate (the bridge, not the hospital) is on the westbound side RIGHT AFTER the bridge. There's a little bus shelter there - that's where Greyhound & West Van buses stop but unfortunately North Van buses don't. The nearest bus stop for a North Van bus is at Park Royal and then you'll need to walk back to the Greyhound stop.

It takes a while for the Greyhound to get from the main station to the West Van stop, especially if it's rush hour, so you'll need to be patient. Approximately 2 minutes after you abandon all hope, it'll show up.

It's been a year or two since I've needed to catch the greyhound from there, so things could have changed.

the greyhound bus also have a stop on the way up the hill going to the highway but i don't remember wish one it is (the bus stop)

yeah lions gate, typo cos im on a timed terminal and i had like 3 secs left.

so my best bet this avo is to get a taxi to the bus terminal and get a bus to whistler from there?

there deffo is one isnt there.. if i knew what time i was outta here for sure id get the perimeter bus... darnit.

Perimeter goes from the airport directly to Whistler and costs substantially more. I don't believe it does any other pick ups, especially on the North Shore.

I don't know how much a taxi from Lions Gate (hospital) to Lions Gate (bridge) would cost.

they stop at major hotels en route. western bayshore? was the nearest they told me.

so basically if im at the lions gate bus terminal at 5pm theres a bus that'll take me back to whistler? sounds like the best bet..

it would be cheaper to rent a smaller limo i would think. plus a little nicer.

a cab from vancouver airport was 220. I think a limo is actually cheaper as they charge by the hour.
