How do you build a nice looking, long lasting tetter totter.

I built a couple at work by bolting a peice of 1" pipe to a 2x10 plank and then mounted it to the framework. If you've got access to a drill, some pipe and some bolts, it's a peice of cake. I'll look around and see if I have a pic of one of them.

Here's one of the pivots for a teeter that I built. It's basically a peice of plywood with a 1" piece of pipe bolted to it. Later the blocks will be mounted to some framework and a longer ladder section will be screwed to the plywood.
The first one I built was bolted to a 2x10 about 12 feet long. It worked out pretty good and handled a lot of traffic so far and it's still goin' strong.
