I think I am going to come and race !! I did last year and had fun..
I like that course !! although it is a little tricky in spots - I love the top part - but the cliffs of insanity (or the rolling rocks of tranquility which is what I renamed them) scare me a little)
are you going?

Considering it, I had so much fun at the Ratrace and the ladies were so nice it made me think I may want to go. Just wondering whom else was thinking about it. I love bumping into NSMB girls at events!

when you call it rocky - do you mean rocky like before you moved to ontario and saw what rocky really meant? :) I still remember how terrified you were ... it makes me smile (not because you were scared but because of how shocked you were about what we ride out here)

yeppers - pano has parts that are everybit as tech and rocky and steep as bromont and fortune - its Leighs favorite mountain cause it reminds him of home -
glad I am so amusing to you :-) I will never forget that first time off of the chair lift at fortune and all there was was steep rock faces - eek... and I asked you guys where the easy way down was and everyone said you are looking at it... hehhe
I certainly had never seen rock like that - up north here in PG and in Williams Lake rock is hard to find - most of the riding is pretty smooth and fast (that is why they build so many big stunts to keep it interesting)- funny thing is now it is the rocky tech races and trails that I like the best... my time out east was good for me
- at Tabor our local mountain here there are a few "rock gardens" that freak otherwise amazing riders out - that just seems funny to me now...

sorry Cheryl - don't listen to us!!- the race course is really fun - it has the funnest begining to any course ever (you hit this little bump and then you are in the air forever because the trail just drops away - the top is super smooth and fun - Caitlin is just making fun of me (and with good reason) I have only been there for the race weekend last year - I tried to ride as much of the mountain as I could - I am excited to go back this year and see the rest.

I remember landing on a big rock in sunpeaks a few years ago... It didn't feel too smooth then:S

Hahaha! Be careful of rocks at Sunpeaks! They move around.
When are you coming out here to dance with me?

Cheryl, there is a rock shute section that'll scare the jesus out of anyone, depending on how fast you're going of course. At slow speeds its totally manageable though. Love it - one of my all time favourite courses.

Wayne - what did you do? mmmmmmmmmmmm dirt bike - what do you have? I rode a KTM 125 when I was in Europe and now I really really want one - just doesn't make sense living in Ottawa (and I don't own a car)... I figure when I stop downhilling I'll start dirt biking! :)
