so - 8 years developing a gearbox dh bike, finally makes it into catalogs for 2005. Now they drop it in favour of a bog standard i drive design WTF. No wonder they went bankrupt.

i'm loving the adjustable head angle, although the steep setting looks a little too steep

Right on yeti 303 sliding on two huge industrial rails.

hahaha - yes

imo it's look better if the seatmanst wasn't cf but painted white like the rest of the frame instead.

umm, as far as I know they haven't dropped the IT-1, just are marketing it as a freeride bike, since the gearing is too wide for a DHer or something along those lines.

The IT-1 is the top FR bike for GT, so yeah, that is true. That new bike in all of them thar piccies, is the new DH Race bike. I like it personally, as usual, just cause it looks different, it gets the ugly stick:P Anyway, y'all must know bout the whole I-Drive thing right? The BB is sort of connected to the swingarm (like a URT), but it rotates on a set of bearing, so that is stays under the rider, and that link is what keep it in place.... etc, etc, ad nauseam.

its a single pivot. im pretty sure a peeler feels the same, an orange feels the same the list could go on. I dont get the company and how it stays in business unless they are big over seas beucase i see none of those bikes around.

Bryn Atkinson had his up in Whis a few weeks ago, its an IDrive Dh race bike, light, almost 35lbs, and its really low, he said it pedals sweet, looks like a fast bike to me.....
