Crankworx dates.....

Hey everyone,

I noticed on the website that the crankworx festival is during the week of July 22nd-30th. Was this the date that it was last year? I have never been able to go because of an annual vacation up to Penticton so maybe this year I might be able to do some of the comps (Air DH). I always go up to Penticton during Crankworx so you info would help, thanks alot.

Last year it was the long weekend in August. The only reason I could see changing it was people complaining to loved ones that they wanted to move their vacations to go...

Went last year and had a blast... got a little hot on the mountain watching the Pro Slope Style.. was like 41 degrees on the mountain and after riding all day... good times!

Personally I only went for the weekend last year. But this year they are definately trying to beaf this festival up... bring it up to the Telus World of the summer so to speak.

So I believe they did change it because I leave on the 30th of July, so I'll be able to race(maybe), but not watch the Slopestyle comp.

My whole family made it there to watch, except for me :( ! I was working full time so I could buy my demo 8! I guess it payed of because now I get to go this year, and ride a demo 8 !

yea ill be up there the whole week im hoping. might be money tight cause im going to golden for 5days in the second week of july to ride. but we will see. last year was a blast though

Last year it was August 3 till something, and same with the year before.. I went to both of them and plan on going to this one this year!
