The last friday of every month in Seattle, WA cyclists gather in the heart of the city and take a ride in mass. The idea as to advocate bicycles as means of transpertation by causing traffic and turning as many heads as possible. (...I know)

The weather on firday looked to be horrible, one our before the meeting time it dumped rain on the city. But as the time grew near, the rain stopped and cyclists from all over came out anyway. From BMXers to mountain bikers to roadies to fixie kids. Over 100 riders came out to support biking, against the odds of the weather.

I brought along a gl2 and attempted to shoot and ride at the same time. The shots aren't very steady or eye pleasing, but this is how it turned out:

i thought the video was great. Nice music, and had a good feel to it.

yeah, i migth have to participate in crit mass here in van one of these days. they just destroy the downtown commute on fridays. its really quite humerous, unless you are a middle aged buissnessman trying to get home to your nuclear family (aka my dad) in which case you become quite enraged.

Nice man, good to see it in action. We are doing something like that soon in Victoria `Ride for the Trails`will start at a point in Vic and ride to the parlement buildings....plans are still in the works....and there is a site for info...nothing much there yet....here is the placeholder...

That was sweet. Good music and good shots. The shaky camera gave the feel I was riding with the group. Well done.
