Both a-line and dirt merchant were pretty sloppy today. The newly shaped jumps on aline are great though. I look forward to trying them out in the dry, I personally was stuggling with some of them in the wet.

Thanks for the reports! I was up last Friday and the hill was mint, but the mid section of A-Line was still closed (although being forced to do Crabapple hits all day is hardly a bad thing :-). Dirt Merchant was set to open the following day ---- argh! ---- so I did not get a chance to try my favourite trail.
Looks like I'll hit them up next weekend!

Yesterday, A-line was amazing. it was dry and all the lips have gotten some major boost. The aline rock drop is sweet, however, braking bumps are forming everywhere, and the middle section, theyve put wood down to try to help, but theres still no way to get speed over the mud. Today after the rain started, everything was a bit muddier, but still good. I just bypasses the middle section via crabapple hits. the first jump on a-line is sweet.

Dirt Merchant blows, or blowed or blew or whatever. Mud all the way down, Unless you're pedalling unbelievably hard before the jumps, chances are you're not gonna clear them. A few days of sun should fix that though

Yeah, A-Line was decent, lots of braking bumps but the mud was not too bad. Dirt Merchant just plain sucked. All the mud sucked up your speed and the lips were not good. Crabapple was pretty prime. A-Line has a few changed jumps.
The new trail is devils club. It has ladders and some rough sections. It needs much better drainage.

that's what happens when you open stuff before things firm up.....

I was really thinking of going up for a few days, but maybe I'll hold out a little longer if Dirt Merchant and the mid-section of A-line are still mud. I was up last week (before the rain hit) and the conditions looked promising. Since the rain, I am imagining things have tapered off and the trails are becoming muddier??
If anybody can provide a conditions update after riding tomorrow (Wednesday), it would really help with my plans.
I guess there's still a long season ahead ..... but its just sooo good to be back!

I am wondering the same thing. It looks like rain all of Wednesday as well. How muddy is muddy??? I am thinking of Friday, but may delay now.
How many dry days away from good conditions (best guesses??)

I have to drive up and pay accomodations, etc. Each trip costs me about $500, so I keep a close eye on weather. If I lived there, weather would not be an issue. The weather forcast is always wrong anyway so there is still hope.
