whistler days used to involve stopping for pancakes at the 99'er to get fueled for the day. they kicked some serious ass, but now the place is lookin mighty shacked up so im assuming its gone, but where can i stop for good food now on the way up?

Timmy.. HOOOOOeeeessss...

last year I went up with a bunch of guys. . we stop for some eats.. This one guy who is rather large.. 300ish lbs.. decides to leave a "little" present in the washroom. I see some other guy go inside, and run out like 2 seconds later, eyes wide, a shocked and stunned look on his face.. it was awesome..

I think they're more thinking of places to eat on the way up from Van, like Squamish or Britania Beach.

Yup, the 99er is shut down. There's always good grub in Brackendale at Bean. You know the deal; breakfast wraps, muffins, kick ass coffee, cinnamon buns....other kinds of buns....... Open at 5:30 AM too. All Steves (and others) are welcome. Your Bro Card gives you 10% off all food and beverage. Just tell the girls before the purchase.

If you're looking for greasy breakfast fare there's also the Brackendale Bistro just down the road.

See you at Whis or on the way.

ya dude!! only thing is i dont really know how to get there. like i know from the downtown side to go up that road and its somewhere along there ... is there a shorter faster way from the highway? we'll stop by for sure

ideally, we stop for eats, feel stuffed for awhile, get to whis get ready and go.

The easiest way to get there from Van is to turn left on Garibaldi Drive (Extra Foods mall opposite) then right on Government. Drive until Eagle Run Village.

When you leave to Whistler, North on Government and then right on Depot. Left on the highway and you're 40 minutes from big airs
