Yeah you could go be a slacker and ride the chair, or you could do your part for the local trails...think the format will be a sweep, with lots of small crews hitting up as many trails as possible, clearing debris, trimming back growth etc. Not only will it get you some good karma points, but breakfast will be provided by the WILDWOOD! Remember, trails don't maintain themselves....see you there.

meet: 8:30am Saturday, May13th (breakfast served at 9am)
Location: Wildwood restaurant on Northlands Blvd. {tennis club}
(some tools will be provided or bring your own)
any questions or suggestions: e-mail trails@worca.com "

I'll be in Whistler May 27th for the BC highschool championships. Since the race is over about 3:00, it's too late to ride the park - so we'd like to ride some of the local trails. Can you offer advice?

I'll be helping check course first thing in the morning and marshall during the event, hope you have fun! I'd go check out river runs through it, it's pretty flat but super fun and flowy, lots of fun stunts to hit along the way, nothing super burly but definitely some challenging stuff!

Any idea of which trails will be worked on, or is the plan a little bit of everything?

If anyone has a chainsaw, I came across two different big trees across the trail in the Emerald Forest the other day. One was close to the ex-gravel pit, just after a split in the trail and then a small rock face. The other was on the section of trail parallel to the paved valley trail.

I'm under the impression that it will be our general and standard spring trail sweep with lots of small groups headin gout to all the different areas to do a quick sweep, clipping and noting of major issues that need attention.....I'll pass your comments on emerald forest onto boyd....any other comments, or trail issues you come across can be emailed to trails@worca.com
