If anyone here has any connections with WORCA, tell them to update their website. The loonie races start tonight, but according to the calendar on the website there isn't anything happening until late June. Also, the 'Trail Maintenance' section hasn't been updated since 2004. There is probably other out of date or incomplete information, but I stopped checking at that stage. It isn't that hard to keep a website up to date and useful.

Hmmmm...I might hit the Toonie tonight! I'll ride my big heavy shore, but it'll be fun!
What time does is start? I guess I could just check the Pique, since the website doesn't work.
They had the Gear Swap on there correctly awhile back, so that's a bonus.

we're all overworked volunteers and do try our best to keep things up to date....frankly my brain is about to crumble between geting ready for the season and my full time job that I'm pretty much working overtime at everyday.....apologies, I'll pass along your concerns.....you're right it should be up-to-date........
...first loonie tonight, 5:30 sign in, 6:30 race.....lost lake warming hut, pot luck, bring your 40 cash or cheque and get ready for another great season!
first trail day saturday may 13th, I'll track down times and meeting locations...

Sounds like WORCA has a new volunteer! Good on you for stepping up and helping out.

I actually have experience doing this, so if you do need help let me know. I prefer money to volunteering, but maybe we can reach a mutually beneficial agreement.
