Australia home of free-riding?

When I was in Brazil I saw quite a few people watching movies like Kranked (or something, I donut know the movies well enough to tell, only know that they were usually a couple of years old), usually in Surf Shops, and EVERYONE thought that it was taking place in Vancouver, Australia. I set them straight, but why is it that Oz gets the recognition?
I would have thought that they would think it would be America or something. But Oz?

:lol: :lol: :lol: but hey wait a moment this is weird - you go to an internetcafe, google "kranked" or vancouver and mtb and you wnd up in the damp north....:| hmmm. wondering why no one ever thought about that.
