I might be thick, but what does the number at the end mean:
958 Cameron Rosset Junior 963 Matthew Fitch 1J 22O
Also; is there an overall ranking? For example, coming in 1st in "J" is fine, but what position against ALL riders?
<<edit: ahh. I think 22O means 22nd overall - so if I'm right, my question is answered>>
And, I know it wasn't an event won on time, but were times recorded at all?

Yeah guys like Matt & Bryon on the V10 deserve major props!
And then there's guys like Morland. I ride Fromme a lot and I've never seen him there. I wouldn't be suprised if this was his 1st time on the course.

I'm confused. For example, #5776 Luke Kizanuk & #946 Jenelle Kassidy show as being 8th mixed (8M) and 17th overall (17O), but they're place after the mixed team that show as being 33rd overall. Also, Lee Lau shows as finishing in 17th place as a solo.
It looks like the solos and relays were scored separately?
LeeLau

I was 17th overall.
The solo results are actually overall.
2 teams got ahead of me so I'm actually 15th solo but 17th overall.
It'll probably be a lot clearer when its written up.
The problem was that a few of the teams didn't bother writing down who were their partners then they compounded that by getting there late so Silk and Tammy were going nuts trying to get everyone registered on time and not all the info might have been there.

Cool ... big props to Silk and the rest of the scoring crew for having the results posted so quickly.

That's incorrect Lee. The solo results and the team results are separate. The overall ranking in Silk's post on the solos is blotchy because the women's results and the juniors' solo results are not included.
As for the team results, there is a discrepancy there because the mixed team results don't work with their overall results. Must just be some sort of typo or something that will be cleared up once the results are properly typed up.

what can I say....
I suck

You definitely do not suck! The results had the women's and junior's placing on the second page at Hurricane's, and I don't remember the mixed team results having any discrepancies either. Must just be a simple mixup while copy-pasting to the forum. Thank you for all your hard work on this Silk!

And Morland was taking his time once he finished the climb (adjusting his iPod earbuds or something). He was taking it so easy, I thought he was just the uphill and had tagged off his relay partner or something. Guess not.

im surprised on how me and cam did. i though we came in like 40th or something. im really pleased with that considering how many talented xc and dh riders there were.
I havent lived in ontario for many years. I just havent touched a bike in 4 years and decided a month ago that I would start riding again.

I remember hanging out with you about 4-5 years ago at a race, or course building or something, can't remember where for the life of me though!
.....welcome to the good province!

Speaking of prizes:
so, what was the deal with awards? What kind of stuff was given out and to whom? what happened with riders that placed well, but couldn't attend the after-party?
