ok so my brother got a place in town, and but hes not here for a couple weeks and im looking after it. its kinda empty and it needs some art work on the walls. i told him id take some pics and get some prints made as cheap art work, and he really wanted some local graffiti shots, as he has always been into that. problem is when i went looking, all the places i remeber having descent art(around the train station and all those industrial buildings between main and clarke) have all just been painted over. ive looked around someother places but havent found anything descent, can someone lead me in the right direction to some cool spots. these ones i got are basically cheating, there from the wall behind the iga at dunbar and 41st. and help finding art, or ideas of how to make the pics more interesting is greatly appreciated.

Do you have any friends that write? You could get one of them to do a piece on your brothers wall. Some friends of mine had a place and they would alawys be painting and repainting it with some really interesting pieces, it sounds kinda trashy, but it can look good if you do it well.

Check the buildings between Royal Oak and Metrotown stations. If you look off of the right side of the trains going west you'll see some good stuff on the backside of the buildings.

The old drain areas down by the beach used to have lots of graph on it. Very bottom of Macdonald st(pretty much). Leeside has some good stuff. The trains on that lower road just east of lonsdale usually have some stuff as well.
