That's one of the popular riding areas here in edmonton. The guy was ok after the crash and the only thing broken was his stem, which is weird because you would think that would be the last thing to break (it was one of those integrated marzocchi ones).

Are you sure you're thinking of the same crash? In the slo-mo part it doesn't look like his bar is moving freely from his fork (unless the stem was only partially broken), and the crash doesn't look like he would have been totally ok. Looks like a VERY LIKELY clavicle and it looks like he was knocked out pretty good.

Again I'm only asking if you're sure not disputing.
