In one week (May 1st) I start work in burnaby!! Im soooooo excited to ride some good stuff this summer I can't wait!
Um yea, well I need to know some good street spots near BCIT (i prefer to explore for my own, but anything I just have to hit?)
Also, need to know, where should I ride in greater vancouver in general???
What are the best djs, skateparks, and street spots????????????????? I dont ride trails :( so dont worry about those........

Also I need to know the address of those sweet djs in richmond, the one with the wallride thing at the end, that Ian was shredding in some video....

All replies, flames, random comments welcome, I really just made this thread cuz im so stoked to be moving back to burnaby after a 5 yr hiatus!

Also, if anyone wants to ride some djs street or park, I would be absolutely honored, even tho my weak prairie skills are probably gonna be elipsed by just about every 8 yr old costco bike riding grom in vancouver....

Anyways, Peace out, hope to see you guys on the trails!!

Scott

well you know what i mean...

anyways to clear things up so people dont think im some sort of alien, i will ride occasional trails, but when you have dual 24's, singlespeed, and only 1 brake, you tend to do trails more harm then good (1 brake = lots of skidding). if i get a front brake going tho im definitely gonna ride some shore tho.

I live right by BCIT... I'm kind of getting into street, a few of my buddies are all over it. Some are actually good. Some like me can do just about... nothing. PM me whenever.

close to burnaby would either be the new west skate park and i think there is some jumsp around there not sure though never go out that way. or go into coquitlam. lafarge lake and coq sk8 park side by side, railside park like 15 minutes down the road in poco. or like 15 minutes the other way is the port moody sk8 park rite on the water with a trials park across the street. theres also the beach rite next to pomo and someitmes there some hotties so check that out in the summer time for sure hahaha

pm me to ride cause i'd show you around

Sweet Dirtjumps in Richmond? They're mediocre at best I would say...

They're right on the dyke at the very south end of #2 road. Just go south on #2 road till it ends, they're right there.

just cause you dont ride doesnt make them bad... They are actually pretty sweet, but the wall is gone now, but theres more jumps.

sweet dude, im not looking to ride a local copy of redbull elevation or something, just some decent jumps with some pop to goof around on. Maybe I'll drive down there and check it out sometime in the evening next week. :thepimp:
