Handlebars - 1" or 2" Rise - Differences??

So anybody ridden both a 1" rise and a 2" rise set of handlebars?

What is the difference both technically and feeling wise. I am thinking of putting a 1" rise bar on my DH rig (after running 2" bars for years).

I am guessing that a shorter riders (ie just over 5') would be better off with lower rise bars where as tall riders are better with high rise???

They will feel pretty much the same provided they have the same sweep. I wanted a lower front end, because even with flat crowns, an M3 and 888's is pretty high, so I went with a 1". It's been great.
