Sick in the summer

So the flu and cold season is supposed to be over. The sun is shining, my bike is gleaming.....and I get sick. Not just like a head cold, like a full blown can't get outta bed sick, with the nausia, aching badness. Then I kick that part and start getting back to trying to ride or go to work and it's moved into my lungs. I am hacking up a lung if I try to climb some stairs let alone ride.
What does one do to deserve getting sick right when the sun comes out, the trails get dry and the daylight savings gets going?

that sucks, and i have sooo been there. had that in january, seriously thought i was going to die, woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't breathe. hopefully yours doesn't get that bad. all i can say is....this too will pass, just in time for the great riding weather :D

as for why you got it...maybe you pissed someone off in a former life? for me, it was probably in this life :lol:

I feel for ya girl. I lost 2 wks in February, due to sickness. Couldn't even think about getting on the bike.

I hadn't been sick for a couple a years, so I guess I was due.

I just got the flu too - I am so sick !! everyone went out riding today - and I sat here and felt sorry for myself - mine started with a sore throat and moved through my head and now I am hacking non stop and every muscle in my body hurts. It is sunny and beautiful outside - sucks to be me today....

:lol: I feel sorry for all of you. I have not had a cold since March of last year:eek:. I have been sickness free for over a year:D. Probably a really good thing considering school takes its toll on me with the labs and shit:(.
Hopefully I have not jinxed myself:P.

ACK! I knew it was just a matter of time before someone asked that dreaded (even just in fun) question. Whenever I get sick or anything, I'm guaranteed to be asked if I'm pregnant. It drives me nuts! :crazy:

Kidding aside, I hope you`re feeling better soon. I only seem to get sick at the change of seasons....weird.
