View Full Version : Stolen 2002 Rocky Mountain Vertex Team Sc - Victoria

Stolen 2002 Rocky Mountain Vertex Team Sc (hardtail), white and red team race colors with the Canadian maple leaf patterning separating the red and white parts of the frame. It was stolen today from around the Uvic Fountain just outside of the Library around 3:20pm. According to my friend who caught a glimpse of the bike thief he was around 6’0” with shortish, slightly curly, light brown hair, wearing sunglasses and bike gloves, he was slim but strong looking, like you wouldn’t want to mess with him. The Components of the bike are as follows:

Brand: 2002 Rocky Mountian Vertex Team Sc
Frame: White and Red Team Colors with Rocky Logos and Maple Leaf Pattern
Stem: white race face deus
Handlebar: Easton Carbon fiber Flat bar
Shifters: Sram 9.0 Halfpipes with white casing and black grips
Brakes: Sram 9.0 white
Derailure (front): shimano XTR
Derailure (rear): Sram X.O. with carbon fiber
Seatpost: Easton carbon fibre
Seat: Selle Italia flite gel (black)
Wheels: Spinergy rim-brake wheelset with the White spokes
Tires: Maxxis 1.5” slick road tires with orange stripes on the side
Cogset: Shimano XTR
Cranks: Race Face (white)
Chainrings: Race Face (black)
Chain: Shimano XTR

I'll keep a look out for it dude, I'll ask around town aswell. Check out shops such as Chain chain chain that's where most the crack heads go. and check out pawn shops!

Thanks for the heads up i'll post a picture of the bike below.

THERE IS A $500 REWARD FOR ANYONE WHO CAN LEAD TO THE RETURN OF THIS BIKE.

Any help or replies will be appreciated. Does anyone know how to take this up with the insurance company?
