Had to post this...I ordered a set of Shimano Disc brakes from Bikeroom this morning at 7am. I got confirmation by email by 7:30, they called me to let me know the shippment had left before 9am and that it should arrive at my door today, this was at 11am. Its now 2pm and greyhound just delivered my brakes. That is some service! In light of the many negative post associated with bikeroom in the past I felt I should post this up. Thanks Bikeroom!

although i can't say bikeroom has been perfect, they have always come through for me.
the GF once ordered a helmet and the guy actually dropped the helmet off on his way home. he may have done this as she was female, but it saved her from paying the shipping.

I have another one:
I ordered two sets of Stans Tubeless systems, one for myself and one for my buddy. The first set arrived a couple of days ago, and I received an email saying that the second set was on its way. Meanwhile my buddy realized he did not want the DH kit, but rather a XC (thinner strips). I called Bikeroom and left them a message about this yesterday. When I got home from from work there was both an email in my inbox and a message on my phone, saying that the second set had already shipped, but that we could come by or ship the strips back for an exchange.

I ordered a 06 Marz 66 RC2X and it arrived a few days later. I talked to the guy on the phone and he seemed pretty cool and even cut me a deal on shipping. My LBS wanted $1400 + taxes for the fork. I got it from Bikeroom for $953 taxes incl and shipped to my front door. Nice fork. Great deal. Good experience for me and I will certainly shop there again.

I did the exact same thing, ordered 2 Stans sets, told them i would come and pick them up. I called to see if they were in. Whoever I talked to said, yeah, but he had to leave as his son had hurt himself at school. He asked me where i lived, bby. "Oh man I'll save you a trip from BBY, I'll pu them in the mail, no charge. " THey arrived like the next day.. awesome..

Another props to Bikeroom. I phoned this morning to get some details on a product, he took my order over the phone, said I should have it by Friday. I just got an email saying it shipped today.
The price was almost as cheap as the best US mail order price without the exchange! And so much cheaper than my LBS that trying for a deal would just have been an insult.
Just for the record, I've made 2 purchases online in the last week, a Saint crankset and Hone crankset. My LBS best price was $675 for both. The highest I was willing to go was $600 to buy local. I ended up paying under $420 cdn for both (2 different online stores.) Sometimes the deals are just too good to remain loyal.

I ordered a avid mech brake last year and had wicked service it was at my house in calgary in three days, now i ordered a simple XT front hub dont get any email confirming the sale, but see that that have already taken the money off my card, i now live in kamloops and its been about 2 weeks. bikeroom is off and on to say the least
