They look cool as but are they any good?

Anyone got experience?

Floyd Landis seems to like his.

Mostly I remember BMCs for their trademark funky seattube/seatstay junction. Nothing else like it!

They are expensive in Canada. The nicer BMC frames will be priced similarly to Colnago, Pinarello, Scott, Canyon, etc.

Here is Floyd's bike from Paris-Nice, photo taken a few days ago:

My take:

1. It will lighten your wallet significantly.
2. You'll probably be the only person you know with a BMC frame, so you'll incite a lot of jealousy if that's you're thing.
3. It probably won't make you go faster.
4. If you've got the cash to burn, go for it.

Definitely a unique, cool-looking bike. I'd take the Phonak Team version (pictured above) over the red version any day.

they are made in taiwan, i believe at the same factory at which specialized carbon fiber bikes are made.

The 880-900 gram Scott CR1 SL frames are also made in Taiwan, doesn't stop them from costing $2500 for bare frame and fork... :D
