yeah diggs, i can't find any info on it yet either.that could mean that if and or when panasonic stops making DSLRs that your lenses are useless when your body is kaput, bodies like the olympus and pentax come to mind as well

Sorry for being a rumour starter, and not being able to confirm. I read a while ago they were in some trouble, so last week when my dad and uncle were talking about them going under, I just assumed it happened, and I was sad.

Can anyone confirm?

....Useless except for the all the Leicas out there that will last like 300000 years.

leica did NOT go out of business.

they're still selling all the new stuff.

The big name that fell out of the market was agfa, no company that makes any form of camera equipement aka leica/voigtlander/canon/nikon has fallen off the market yet.

......unless of course they use a new or specific mount exclusive to panasonic, which I was trying to find out. but you already deduced that, right?
