Hey everybody. I've been working at the show both Friday and Saturday for Dark Cycles. I thank everybody that has checked us out, the respose this year has been great. If you havn't been, c'mon and check us out. One small request though. As much as I wish we were able too, we don't have enough bikes there for each person to ride in the demo area all afternoon. Please consider that we have had many people interested in trying our stuff. By all means, if you go to park ANY companies' bike and nobody else is goin for it, go right back on out!
We all understand that there are some great bikes that you really enjoy, but please share the love. Enjoy the show, the season is coming... ;)

"The best handling and smoothest big travel bike I've ever ridden."

I couldn't find one bike there that fit me right, it was kinda disappointing.

it did. except specialized didn't have a booth and the norco techies were apparently "forbidden" to touch any other bikes.

Did anyone else notice the Norco Shore weighs like 50 pounds?

That dark bike rode nicely, deffinately bottomless travel feeling, while the other bikes felt like they would bottom out off a 4 foot drop to flat concrete, not that anyone would try something like that with everybike.
It seems like they wouldn't do anything to fix the bikes there, i wanted to ride the demo, but the chain was off the guy said, he tried pathetically to fix it, and said oh mechanics will have to do this, 1st try i put the chain back on, lever on one bike, i fixed with my tool in my pocket, then the sx, i quickly tightened up the derrailier cable bolt, and it had half the gears after that, haha, oh well.
I admit to riding that dark bike for too long, it rides real nice, nice to see something built local.

I liked the scarab. I like the air SX trail better though.

Yeah the orange Enduro was a beauty. It's not super heavy like the Shore and it's not nervous like the Fluid...I guess you could say the same for the new Six but it doesn't have an air shock. I don't like what Norco did with the Six.
