Trutativ ISIS BB. reverse threaded, or normal?
I'm trying to remove my BB, but it won't budge, and I'm afraid to apply too much pressure - especially if it's reverse threaded.

i always get so confused about that too. but its the one crank arm thats reverse not the bb. if you think about it why would it be reversed? its right hand thread, but u better wait for someone else to reply just to make sure.

Get some penetrating lube in there for a day, and try loosening it up with at rubber mallet. Careful with the removal though, you REALLY don't want to strip it.
If you're really unsure, take it to a shop. They'll hook you up.

I hate those BB tools, they need to make something that grabs better. If it's a hollow spindel, I ran a long bolt through the center to hold the bb tool on and used a wrench .This keeps to bb tool from slipping off.

Took it to my LBS. He just used a bigger wrench and more leverage.
Thanks, Heath at Cranky's!!
