My 04 888 has a hole in the lowers and leaks oil. Marzocchi says they will warranty it if I send back the fork it probably won't cost me anything, but I have no idea how long it will take. Would it be a bad idea to just "patch" up the hole for awhile?

What´s the point in keeping it? You´ll make it worse, and it´s quite possible that Marzocchi won´t fix it anymore if you keep on riding with a fork like that. Also, you will have to send it in sooner or later anyway.

If your fork is sent to the Marzocchi shop in North Vancouver, apparently the turn around for warranty is 2 days or less. Call them and then send it.

I'm from New York and I think I would have to send it to California. I told them I would just send them the lowers, but they want the whole fork.
