Does anybody know anything about the Cove Shocker other than what is posted on the Cove website? I am interested and I know it is pretty light, but I don't know about it's pedaling ability as I will be using it to do some pedaling as well as freeride.

I was in the Cove last week and talked to a sales guy there.
I will be available in the spring in limited numbers.
It will be lighter than the Peeler and it apparently pedals much better than the Peeler. It is suppose to rail turns unlike any other Cove made thus far.
And it has a rauchy name.

So what should it be, a Transition DirtBag, Cove Shocker/Playmate or a Yeti ASX? Does anyone know if Cove has released their kits yet?

Is it possible to order a Playmate w/ kit from Cove and still get the bike for under $4000?

They are cool bike but the geometry is a bit weird. They are really tall and have a steep headangle, but if you run a tall fork like an 05 66, they would make a great shore bike. It is the type of setup you either love or hate. They feel fairly close to a banshee scream geometry wise, but better designed, nicer looking and lighter. I'd say the 9.5(what I have) is a better riding bike overall, although its a bit heavier and has more travel.
Heres a really bad pic of me riding a Sin

If anyone is serious about the bike, go to the store and ride it around. Or better yet, ask to take it for a run. The suspension feels pretty good. Has that Demo9 plushness.

Sin is discontinued I guess, so now it's between the Transition DirtBag, Yeti ASX and 9.5. Maybe a Specialized SX Trail? I need to be able to race DH though....

Also, does Azonic make good stuff? I have heard that their customer service is terrible, but their frames sure look nice, and I also have a potential sponsorship offer from them.

$2800 for a Shocker, and they should be out in a couple months.

OH MY GOD there are sooooo many choices out there for a bike. I am looking at like 9 diff bikes rite now and cant decide, but over half are made up in the Vancouver area, pretty far away from my California home. What do I do?
