I have a rear Saint brake with what appears to be a stuck piston on 1 side. Its a fresh bleed so its not that because the piston on the opposite side is moving well. In fact I bled them 3 times to make sure before pulling the callipre off to see what was up.

Anyone have experience fixing this problem on a Saint brake?

Pull out the piston and make sure the O-ring is seated properly in that groove. Just pull out your pads and squeeze your lever to push them out. I've never seen it happen before, but thats what i'd put my money on.

that did it..the piston was caked in gunk and the o ring was out a bit. Thanks.

The nice thing about Shimano brakes is that an Ape could service them. By far the best brake on the market right now in terms of modulation, power and user friendliness.

An Ape huh? You making cracks? You'd have the right to if you knew me but...just kiddin...I deserve it. I'm pretty horrible at the service stuff but I'm learning.

You know what they say about assumptions...I may look like an Ape, and say the word "fuck" alot but I can think well enough t'make a mean peanut-butter and banana sandwich.
