i'm waiting for a Travis INTR/TI to coming, but the price on those ur so good that i could not pass. 05 Dorado 180mm, TPC PLUS, semi-open bath, 32mm stanchions, well my old Dorado serve well but...
what blown me way is in the Box the manufacture date is 02-09-06, the carbons legs, they are still hot:rocker: :rocker:

maybe they have a stock of parts in a wherehouse that they are trying to deplete.

that's not the date of manufacture, its the expiry date.

When I was working at a shop last summer a customer brought in a Dorado with a cracked lower crown and cracked carbon lowers (I guess uppers in this case).

We were told that there was no more carbon lowers available and that nothing could be made from their source.

So that's a downer for Dorado owners but I'm quite sure Manitou would replace a broken Dorado with a Travis at this point.

Give them to me they have to be the second sexiest forks on the planet (shivers are first) Pretty reasonale aswell you can in the uk pick them up quite reasonably. Its just a shame about the maintinence side of things with them having to be serviced rather often.

The new forks are on, and the little parking lot ride last night felt great!
i'm not concerned about maitenence, since my last Dorado's prove to be bullet proof, i change the oil wheight to match my older one and feels better
One cool thing is i was able to use the older FORK upper crown, so now i have
integrated stem, sweat mother of jesus, it's so cool, CNC crowns versus Forged it looks ten times better, weel everybody have a great weekend and keep the rubbers in the AIR not up-side down!!!!:brazil: :brazil:

Its coreys signature i think but it does seem a little odd. A light weight dh fork on what basically can be described as tank albeit a pretty tank.
