so i've heard there's someone out there who does a tune job on the 5th element that came stock on the 05 trail sx. anybody know of a company that does this? its supposed to dramatically improve the performance of the bike/shock.

ummm go to www.mtbr.com go to fourms then go to specialized there is stuff about them there.. 100% HEY syncros did the slider comes with caps? for TPC

Mark - send Cam a PM about this. He pulled his 5th and replaced it with a Fox Air shock.

thanks. i'll check it out to see if people have done the mod. it would be nice to have this shock running well so it gives me an extra option like if i wanna ride the bike all day at whistler
what was the deal re: the slider?

lol - so if i get that from you i can just pop it on and have the tpc. that would be great cause climbin on that bike sucks ass right now with the bigger fork on the front and a 24" wheel on the back. bring it into the shop and i'll come pick it up mon or tue.

nope, one top cap is rebound, the other top cap is a hex cap

ok. on my flick the left hand side of the fork has the rebound knob and the right hand side has the knob to lock down the fork. for some reason i thought the slider could be locked down as well.
