(Bill Frakes is a Sports Illustrated staff photographer based in Florida. He is famous for the number of remote cameras he uses at the finish line of major horse racing events, as well as important track & field meets.)

Holy shit:damn:, The amount of equipment is definetly amazing but think of the weight, The guy would need fucking overload springs just for his photography gear!:lol:

That's alot of money, just this one lens is worth $80-90,000 US. Last I heard there were only around 15 in existence.

Thats amazing, Sweet stuff he has, i wouldn;t even know what to do with all that! however i do want a pocket wizard. They are sweet! Man thats a lot of gear!

His advertising clients include Nikon, Nike, CocaCola, IBM, Kodak, and Reebok. Editorially his work has appeared in virtually every major US publication including Time, National Geographic,Newsweek, People, Fortune, Life and The New York Times.

Bill won the coveted Newspaper Photographer of the Year award in the prestigous Pictures of the Year competiton. He was a member of the Miami Herald staff that won the Pulitzer Prize for their coverage of Huricanne Andrew . He has also been honored by the Robert F. He HAS to be a very good photographer to be able to get into Sports Shooter. Working for SI probably allows him to have all that gear, selling photos to a big mag. like that racks in alot of money...

He has been with SI for years.
