Here is my theory.
The better photographer you are, the fewer pictures you should post in a thread.
If you are a mediocre photographer, you should post more pictures in a thread.
Not a bad picture though.

The picture looks good to me, but it doesnt show me where he is coming from and where he is going. Maybe if you could get the spot the rider is looking at in the photograph it could give a better perspective.
Just my thought, I have no clue what im talking about.
And my attention is drawn way to much to the dark pillars under the bridge, particularly right inbetween the riders wheels.

sky is totally blown out, colours are dull. Get rider to wear brighter shirt. use a polariser filter, use a slower aperature, turn up flash power.
Doing that will make the rider stand out, darken the sky and the background.
But turning on the flash and getting a different colour shirt would be the easiest, as well as getting the rider to do a trick of some sort. try a few different angles as well. maybe try shooting in B&W or sepia, there are no real nice colours this time of year, especially the sky.

It's a neat, original line. It doesn't need a trick, but without a trick, it definately needs an angle that shows what is going on better.

It actually looks like he hucked off the bridge, kind of a mind trick.
You definetly could've done better. One - not a very good angle, better would be on the other side, looking more upward than sideways. Second - timing could've been better if it was a tad earlier. It's also kind of a dinky line to shoot IMO but whatever floats your boat I guess.
That little sequence is no doubt a little better, Just a little blur on Ian.

Try a little "fill in" flash next time, It'll reduce the amount of motion blur in your sequence photo. also, If you shoot it from a lower angle it'll look bigger than it really is.
