About 3 or 4 minutes past the marina going west I think?, Don't know exactly though...

Although these were only snapshots, I would appreciate some critique.

I would appreciate some critique.

1) Boring, out of focus, dull
2) Boring, out of focus, dull
3) Bad composition, Dont really know what you were going for on this one but it didnt work.

4) Jamie K is a total moron.

The boat one isn't so good but I really like the sun in the last one.

they just look like random snapshots without any real subject...u just tok a picture of the top half of a tree and the ocean.it wouldnt very hard to put in a little mroe effort and make them at least decent or worth looking at

Yes, I myself know these shots aren't very good.
What was I thinking?, These are just some quick shots with a low battery, obviously I am going to get a negative response.

Jamie

last time i checked, a critique states what techniques the author/artist used and elaborates on what was good and bad about said techniques.

where u using a point and shoot? like on auto focus? cause it looks like the camera focused on the leaves more than the background.

Majin Hurricane you have no idea what smog is until you have been to Hamilton, Ontario. The steel city, disgusting is all I can say.

Actually I didn't. I should have used a bit of a faster shutter spead so i can decrese the aperature.

Try going to LA and actually feeling like you have a chest cold all day.

The lighting is really flat in the first 2, play aorund with whitebalance a bit, the second one the foreground is in focus but its composed like the subject is the freighter. First one doesnt really have a subject so you focus on the foreground but that makes the subject i suppose, so now the subject is divided and frustrating to look at. the last one the tree isnot very crisp and the tops are cut off and there are other tops intruding into the shot, overall its not very clean. I hope these can help.
