indeed. I have processed a smaller and larger one. The smaller is smaller, and may or may not play better on junker computers...but who knows, the world of video is crazy.
larger (http://madstyle.autisticpig.com/dirt_gathering06LG.wmv)
smaller (http://madstyle.autisticpig.com/dirt_gathering06.wmv)
please note: some of you may love, and others may hate the b&w factor. trust me, it had do be done due to technical reasons. it was one of those shooting things that can't be fixed in post...unless with black and white. (yayy) i think the teaser (http://madstyle.autisticpig.com/gatheringtease.mov) explains why. i think there is more of a film look with it, though. har har.
umm i will work on the park video later. it shall have a different feel...because it will have a different song...so it will have to...
party on?

also - the smaller video seems to have less of the horizontal lines during fast actions for some reason.

I have always wondered how this song would mix with mountain biking. Pretty rad mr Madison. I would love to see you use this song in the big line mountain area I think it would be pretty unreal.
To bad about how raped a back flip is these days. I know its not your fault madison for all the flips, just sucks when that is all you have to work with.

Yeah I kind of felt bad about using it, thinking maybe I should save the song for something bigger in the future. But then I realized I probably won't get permission to use it for something bigger so might as well use it now.

Yea no kidding, last year the biggest attempt at a trick was a tailwhip. now that's the norm. as well as 20bizzillion backflips at a time.
Shocker

well maybe i'll be able to make a .mov version of it soon. but honestly- if you don't have windows media player on your mac, what makes you so certain your quick time player is up-to-date enough to handle what i'ma spit out?

yea your rightSorry, but that's a false quote, I didn't mean it "kills" it, There was just no Quicktime on the computer I was on at the time...
I just saw it and the footage was great. My only beef is the B&W and how the resolution isn't very good on the action shots(maybe a side effect of rendering it?).

ofcourse any still shots with no panning or tilting will look better in any internet video (the color stuff), but most of the action shots where shot on my buddy's camera in 24p mode, not to mention it was really dark becuase i was trying to keep the shutter atleast a little bit high so the frames wouldnt blurr togetehr soo much.. so that has somthing to do with it i'm sure, plus trying to lightin the shots in editing killed it too. but, if you saw it on tape it looks much better.

the repetivness of backflips is TOTALY ACCEPTABLE. because thats basicly wat that whoel nigth was. major backflips of stuff and 360's and whips

That was rad dude! Song was awesome, good flow and feel to the video.
The 180 rollback to half cab off by Chase was super smooth.

He tried doing it about 5 or 6 times. and on the time you see in the vid, he cased the side of the landing and almost fell over before riding it out. I guess it just looks smoother with editing trickery. <---tis the idea.

Pardon me, I'm just a roadie hack who couldn't roll out of a 180 if you held a gun to my head.
I only watched it once and that was the one move that stood out to me.

Ah Arron Chase was doing the 180 to 180 off the scaflting in practice the day before the comp, even before the corse was fully built and ridin in yet. I am not sure why he did not compete in the finals but he was killing it the day before the comp even started. I am sure if he rode in the finals he would have that move diled. The times I saw him do that move other riders where still trying to ride that line smothy with strait airs.

I would hope so, it's about ten times harder. It's definately the craziest trick that I've seen on a mountain bike.
