well my power just came back on. and i snapped some pics of the crazy storm so...
the sea wall is about 5.5 ft tall, spray was 20 ft above the beach easy on the big waves.

South Delta declared a state of emergency. Apparently 15 foot storm surges pounded the coast line.

no my house is about 30-35 feet back from the seawall.
i live on the other side of tsawwassen we werent evaced cuz where above sea-level. beach grove(facing white rock) is dyked and thats where the flodding was.
it wasnt a 15ft surge. it was a 15 ft tide which is big and abnormal but it was the winds that caused the problem of the flooding.
my power was out from 4am to like 730 tho that sucked ass

We had no power from about 5am till God knows when. We went out at around 5pm and it still was not on. I didn't fall asleep till about 5am as well, was up all bloddy night with all of the racket that that storm caused. It's still blowing right now too.
