i want to get a cheap cheap cheap "road" bike off buysell or something to just get exercise on in the spring. since i live near farmlands i wanted to just pedal around the backroads and stuff. that means i don't need a tour de france perfect bike, and i really don't want something that is an "investment".

basically a cheap used commuter.

whats good to look for in terms of sizing etc?
i'm 6'1

hey cam, we have 1972 pugeot road bikes that are brand new fresh out of the box for 99.00 at caps. Ive been using one for about 5 months for commuting and its been awsome. Its no 1500 dollar trek, but its all you need if your not serious about it.

Sounds kind of cool actually. Is there a lot of other vintage road stuff for sale at Caps?

Haha, I talked to Bill, he say's there's so many of them in the warehouse. I thought we only had like, those 2 left! I want one!

Vintage I tell ya.

And they come with the rear wheel powered generator and lights! So the lights are on when you pedal, until you stop moving. Nifty little feature :P
