Hey guys, im lookin to swap out my old 243 frame for an 05 p3 soon, but i've heard that p series with 24s can be really low. I got 175mm profile crank arms, the p3 would be a long and i have a 4" dj3 and 24" rims...would the bb be too low to the ground?

my buddy has one and its already really low with 26's so i wouldent recomend(sp) it because he hits his 170 truvatives(sp) off every thing.

i run dual 26's on my p1 and i find it good. but i have a buddy that runs 24"s and he find them good. you just wont be able to turn with your inside crank down

I wouldn't recommend it. The BB is already super low. It'll be lower with 26s than your .243 was with 24s. The low BB is wicked but the bike really is made for 26" wheels.

ya it is.
24" seems to be the hyped up thing of the past. the whole 3" tire on 24" thing seems to be dying

Thanx for the info. I like my wheels and all but I like the p3 a lot more than 24" wheels so I'll try to get some 26" to make it work nice...i think its worth it...great frames
