Riding without a helmet is silly. Taking pic's or video's of said rider is even lamer...
Yeah that's my narrow point of view!

sick riding.
i NEVER say this, but i feel like i have to right now. seeing pretty big riding without a helmet just bothers me.
Why? I just hit my head. all i did was fall backwards land on my butt and smack my head... and i gotta say. it takes only ONE hit to make you realize that it's a totally different thing that hitting your knee or back or anything. Sure we all KNOW this... but you gotta experience this to really get scared.
it's a one way street. recovery is not like "oh it'll hurt for a week or so... just take it easy." try complete psychological alteration... loss of memory... mood swings... visual distortion... lower than normal ability to understand parallel thoughts... it's FUCKED UP. for the past three weeks i have been walking around in a half awareness. Yess i am getting better, but my vision is still fucked up. flashing lights at night. Had my eyes checked and it's not my retinas. I will never ever ride street/MTB/Park with out a helmet again.
so say what you want. just be careful and set a good example. takes very little to fuck yourself up. HOw eften to you go home after a day of ridig with a buise? Well, hit your head next time and see if it result's in just a bruise.
but nice riding. for real. not trying to step on toes.
P.S. i am from connecticut.

sorry to hear about your head injury. I've seen the same thing happen to other people...its really a bummer. Lenosky always wears his helmet when we film....but some people just won't wear helmets. Anson rides with Edwin and Wormz and all the Zoo York guys, if you mentioned a helmet to them they would just walk away. they'll never wear helmets...i guess its a bmx thing.
