help: need any tire that isnt a 2.6 gazz

anybody have a tire, any tire, lying around their house that would fit on a 03 supert? my 2.6 gazz doesnt fit. i can pay a little for it, i dont care if its previously loved, it would jus be nice if it wasnt completly bald. i just wanna get rid of the gazz because it is rubbing my fork and it is slippery as hell, esp. on fromme in the rain or snow.

I have two 2.7 mobsters that I'll never use, you can have one for free, or $15 for both. They are used mind you, but have more than enough life to get some use out of them still. (you pick up)

why dont you just go get one of those stout tires.. get 2.3.. those are as wide as 2.6 and only cost 16 bucks for new. also check out sports junkies in port moody, they have intense tires for 40 bucks. =) i have intense 909 fro 26 x2.7 and it fits fine( on 03 jrt)

did they change the lowers? i thought they were the same lowers.

04 = better tire clearance..
03 = tight.

04 .. inner part of the arch, which is facing the tire knob is sanded down.. like its flat for 04 unlike 03.. 03 is just round; therefore its tighter.

Shave the nobs on your gazz, and i dont see how your gazz can be slippery, they rock the wet roots.

The other factor to consider is your wheel set. Perhaps the width on your rim is wider and causing your 2.7 not to fit.
