A lot of people were talking about this flick when the trailer hit online, and there are a lot of TDF fans in the forum, so here's my quick review:
It's good, it's long, and it may not be for the uninitiated.
A really good portrait of what people do to compete in this insane event, but it's not going to win any awards. It's too light on action to be about the event, too light on human drama to be about a single person or team. What it's really got going for it is that it shows dudes that are in the thick of things through the entire tour and what theyre doing that doesn't get televised.
Made for a European audience that's already really familiar with the tour and it's rules.
Go see it if you're already really into the TDF, but don't expect to take someone who isn't with you and have them 'catch the fever'.
