i loved the fly but this thing looks even better. 5" stroke shock...... :damn:
Foes says:
Includes custom chainguide, 160mm custom Hadley hub, post-mount floating brake assembly. 4 oversize sealed cartridges in the main pivot. 10" of wheel travel via 5" stroke Curnutt shock. Head angle adjustable +/- 2 degrees via rod-end shock eyelet. Steel, ti, and dual-rate ti spring options available. 83mm BB shell. MSRP starts at $2949 with a steel spring, $3166 with ti spring, $3385 with dual-rate ti. Weight is estimated to be about the same as the existing DHS Mono; the front end is bit heavier but the swingarm lost some weight. The current Mono is still going to be available.

When I think about you I touch myself...
Oh wow. That makes me happy inside, 1:2 ratio is unheard of. Nice job Foes, we'll see how it does on the circuit.

Much as I love Specialized bikes, I really wish they would give up their 4bar patent, so bikes like this could be 4bar.

Beautiful frame...
.243racer, I'm dont know much about it but I believe the longer the stroke is in relation to the amount of travel, the more sensitive/responsive it is, and the easier/better the damping can be tuned. Hopefully somebody can explain it well and correct me if need be.

HEY dont u start in...

It only rides as good as you are.
A nice bike doesn't make you any of a better rider.

Tell that to old man Bryon Enns who attributes getting faster since moving from a GT DH-I to a V10. Owes it all to the bike. Its more of a factor than you'd think.

...and by the looks of it, that's about as close to a moto as you can get.

I would sell every single non-essential organ i have for that. That is probably the sexiest thing i have ever seen. My god i didnt like the 2005 fly but this makes up for it in every possible way imaginable.

Nelson personal choice is a strange thing its what make us all individual but come on just looking at the curnutt on that and i nearly pass out its so pretty. And yes more lottery tickets are nessacary.

I think that is one of the best looking bikes on the planet. Not only asthetics, but I'd bet the type and length of that shock stroke would work better than mostly all other platforms out there. I read somewhere that a longer stroke would equal more/better damping adjustments (maybe from BOS Engineering). There could be more stages of compression damping shims in the shock for fine tuning.
I never been a fan of the Foes Mono, but that's a sweet piece of machinery right there. I love technology.

it's just the way the Cornnutt is made, I think it has something to do with all the special valving going on inside of it... notice there's no external res? I think like Romic it's all taken care of inside the shock body...
That is one SEXY looking frame... pure craftsmanship there.
