...not if you know how to fix it. It will last for a long time.
Good to see you have the solid link plate on the drive side (the part the roller bolts to). Keep all those bolts locktited and you'll be a happy man.

That is the original roller from 2001. Everyone I have talked to has had it break.
I used to have one. It was fine for a couple of rides and then it got completely fucked up. The bolts that hold it together are small and defective and the ring breaks easily.
Try to get one from the new Balfa in the UK.

They don't have any on there Site. N' i'm not really wanting to pay big moneys for it to be shipped.
that is one of my most favoritist frames of all time. and it looks like it's in very good condition.

It's kind of shitty that Balfa is in the UK now. I had a shitload of problems with mine, but Parsons seems to have had his figured out. I guess it will be kind of hit and miss with it.

I havn't riddin' many fullys, but this is my most favoristist one. Yeah, theres only Cable rub on the Top tube.

$200 for shipping? ouch. Jamie has his rollers in with plastic plates. They are 35 Pounds, ~$75 including shipping. At least that's what he told me, I still need one for my 02. It sure pedals like crap with a standard chain line, about what I imagine those old Treks with the rubber bumper shock from the early 90s pedaled like..

I just saw this frame in person the other day.....WOW...freakin mint-o-mint. You'd have a hard time telling the thing was ever even built up! :cool:
