put on a helmet evan.

No. Leave me alone. Jordie's dog ate it.

Riding in the skatepark isn't even real biking anyways, it's basically really lazy transition training for actual dangerous real mountain biking.

I can't get a new helmet until the new ones come out in production, so basically it's violate my contract or not ride my bike. I'm sorry this is offensive to you. I saw a dead body once and I took less offense to it.

last time I checked, falling on your head onto cement from that height does as much if not more damage than dirt and rock does. I guess its cool to sacrafice your life and limb to look cool though. im sure your sponsors wouldnt care if you wore a helmet(without branding) as aposed to them not having you as a rider anymore due to the fact that your in a wheelchair drooling on yourself. :hurt:

but its your life. Do what you want.

You're way off, I'm glad you think my lack of a helmet looks cool though.

I'm REALLY not sacrificing anything, I'm flowing around the skatepark.... I'm not even 100% on my ankle - I'm not trying to push any limits here. I'm basically trying to maintain some composure on my riding while I'm healing up.

When you're bound to a contract it doesn't matter, you do what you agreed to do and you be a professional about it.

I guess in the end it is my life, and I'll do what I want and you'll still be angry that I'm living, rather than sitting on the couch, being lazy and becoming a shitty rider for getting not any practice - even if it is just cruzing around the skatepark, getting some transition training and not being fat.

Im not angry that your living. Im not even angry about you not wearing a helmet. I just think its a stupid and ignorant choice to make. even though you have probably hit the same park many times before, something can always go wrong.

so you're calling my choices stupid and ignorant.... that's pretty stupid and ignorant - you don't even know me.

Man, huckster shut up on the helmet issue, why drag out a sick lookin thread of pics with a bunch of crybaby whining. Everyone is entitled to their own choice. Everyone knows the risks they are taking when they don't wear any gear you don't have to be all doctor mom about it. Jesus!

hahaha. telling someone their choice is ignorant and stupid is equally ignorant and stupid. evan knows the risks and doesnt really need people on the net telling him what to do or not do. this horse has been beaten to a pulp.

in some circumstances sure.

I'm not trying anything new or even really working.... look at my face in all the pictures, calm as a bird. The skatepark is not going to change, it will always be exactly the same as the first lap through. Straight airing the hips is pretty much less difficult then ridng to the store, and in this situation I'm not going to get smoked by a car.

I've rebuilt my helmet with 3 other helmets because you people are so petty.
