Looks pretty normal to me. Nice blue paint on the personal model though. The production models don't look super swank. Nice though.

why would you bump this?

was it even bump worthy?

i thought that the new hardtails looked like poo and that theres nothing really new/revolutionary about them.
hardly a 2006 product.

if I see one more 'new' HT I'm gonna puke all over it. And then I'll introduce that as another 'new' HT

HAHA i somtimes bump my own thread, but i try to only do it once, and instead of just writing "bump" ill just say some random comment.

Ive never actualy seen anyone "bump"on these forums LOL!

I had the STP2 for a while last year: great bike! Too freaking small for me, but very fun for what it was made for and very solid (even with the standard QR MX Comp fork). Killed the skate parks. I almost regret selling it, but not really since I funded my MP3 player with the proceeds and I'm getting a bigger stout hardtail next week anyway.

Are there any other '06 Giants that have been shown? Specifically the AC?

The AC is being phased out.. more of a low end bike now. All about their vpp style linkage.

I dont understand vertical dropouts on a hardtail anymore, seems like everyone has gone singlespeed.

Im sure it will be all right, but I think they missed quite a few potential sales.

A low end bike is what I want.
