While rebuilding my fork (03 shiver dc) one of the legs went together perfectly and buttery smooth, while the other was a bit more of a hassle. It wasn't easy removing the upper part of the fork from the stanchion sometimes because it had a tendency to "stick" at times. After putting in new seals, still the same problem persisted. Now a few months ago I got into a nasty crash where the bike hit the tree and I was thrown off of it before I hit it head on, (luckily) so I'm not pulling the "I was riding down the trail and it stopped working" b.s., it was my fault that I fell. So what I'm asking is could it be possible the fork is bent? I still use the fork and it DOES work well just isn't always buttery smooth, but I was curious if there was anything else such as bushing that I could replace to remedy this problem. Thanks.

Don't know much about Shivers, but Cory does. He'd be able to give you a good word.

If you want, put 'shiver' in your thread title (maybe make a new one?) and you'll get tonnes of traffic. Seems people with shivers are passionate about them and know them quite well, so you'd get lots of advice on here.
