looking for a solid 6 or 7 inch single crown that can adjust the travel down to 4 or 5 inches. which would you recommend, i'm overwhelmed in this fork market. thanks

if your a fairly smooth rider and not casing large jumps/drops id say go for the Stance Flow, TPC feels great.

Pike looks good. It's what I would buy if I had the money. I haven't seen too many 05s out there still, but 06 looks to have a good lineup, with many different models, features, and prices. I think the max travel you can get from a Pike is 6" though. Not too sure.

an inch is 25mm so a pike is 5.6 inches

Don't mean to hijack, but is 10mm of travel really noticeable? Doesn't seem to me like it would be.

it is not noticible per say but that would just add more progression to the fork...and extra 10 mm of stiffness would sure help on the big stuff once you get down itno your travel
