Port Alberni trails?

Some riders here on the Island are saying that Port Alberni is absolutely amazing!!

I know Cumberland has been going off for a while but has anyone ridden the Port Alberni stuff?

Is it shuttle riding or can you climb it too?(I'm old)

I rode there once in the summer, they have alot of nice built stuff... some great trails. The area I rode in, we climbed up, but we where passed by several 4x4's so i assume you could shuttle. Anyway, sorry im not much help here on the details.

Yes, Alberni is awesome. You can ride on either Aerosmith of the Face (Behind the candy store) or both in one day. The trails are great there, with lots of new stuff recently. Check pinkbike for photos.
